Vietnam Masters and PhD Scholarships: Ton Duc Thang University

Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), located in Vietnam, is highly ranked in the educational sector and offers scholarships for 14 Master's Programs. These scholarships are awarded based on the student's GPA and are available to international students with good academic standing.

Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Requirements:

• Applicants must have obtained their degree from an institution ranked in the Top 1000 of QS/THE/URAP rankings.
• A Bachelor's Degree and Transcripts in a relevant major are required.

English Language Proficiency:

For programs taught in English:

• TOEIC: Minimum score of 600
• TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 50
• IELTS: Minimum score of 5.5
• PET/FCE: Minimum score of 160

For programs taught in Vietnamese:

• TOEIC: Minimum score of 500
• TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 45
• IELTS: Minimum score of 4.5
• PET/FCE: Minimum score of 140

Note: English certificates must be valid for two years from the test date up to the application date.

Scholarship Coverage:

Master's Program Scholarships:

·      100% Scholarship: For applicants with a GPA of 3.6 or higher.

·      50% Scholarship: For applicants with a GPA between 3.4 and 3.6.

·      25% Scholarship: For applicants with a GPA between 3.2 and 3.4.

PhD Program Scholarships:

·      100% Scholarship: Covers dormitory and tuition fees, based on GPA and annual review.

·      50% Scholarship: Partial coverage of dormitory and tuition fees, based on GPA and annual review.

·      25% Scholarship: Partial coverage of dormitory and tuition fees, based on GPA and annual review.

6.   English Language Proficiency (TOEFL iBT 30-45, IELTS 4.0-5.0, Cambridge Assessment English B1 Preliminary/B1 Business Preliminary/Linguaskill Grade 140-159, TOEIC Listening 275-399, Reading 275-384, Speaking 120-159, Writing 120-149)

7.   Copy of Passport

8.   Photograph (3x4 cm)

9.   Criminal record within the last 6 months

10.                 Guarantee bank statement with a minimum balance of $2,500, valid until the application submission deadline

11.                 Health check report from an official clinic or hospital within the last 6 months

12.                 Certificate of seniority of work (for Business Administration applicants)

13.                 Copy of Research publications (for research-oriented applicants)

14.                 Certified copy of scientific achievements (if any)

For PhD Applicants:

3.   Original copy of Bachelor transcript in the relevant major

5.   Original copy of Master transcript in the relevant major (not needed if Bachelor's degree is very good)

7.   Copy of Research publications (all files of published papers if any)

8.   Six copies of Statement of Purpose (Based on TDTU’s format)

9.   English Language Proficiency (TOEFL iBT 46-93, IELTS 5.5-6.5, Cambridge Assessment English B2 First/B2 Business Vantage/Linguaskill Grade 160-179)

10.                 Two Reference Letters (at least one from master thesis advisor)

11.                 Copy of Passport

12.                 Photograph (3x4 cm)

13.                 Criminal record within the last 6 months
